Moscas en Leche (Flies in Milk) was a performance/installation incorporating video, sculpture, and the live performance of Miss Dionne d’Love – a towering Cuban transsexual-diva twirling above the audience in a nine-foot high satin hoop skirt covered with white plastic flowers.

While Miss d’Love lip-synched to recorded operatic arias, four video monitors simultaneously played scenes of several humorous Latino couples in a staged soap opera tele-novela at an opera outing.
